About Rivkah

Rivkah Kaufman is certified as an LMHC, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, and an LPC, or Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. Rivkah has an MS.Ed from Hunter College and is a Certified EMDR Therapist, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional. Rivkah combines several trauma modalities into her work, including EMDR, DBT, SE, and IFS, and incorporates these into a psychodynamic understanding of human behavior and relationships.

In her therapeutic work, Rivkah integrates the many facets of her 20-year professional career – which have included positions in the corporate, academic, and educational sectors – with general life experience, to provide her clients with insightful, culturally sensitive treatment.
